How to Wire a CAT5e

Step 1. Carefully strip 1" of jacketing from the cable. Do not strip or nick any insulation from the inner conductors. |

Step 2. Place the insulated conductor pair between the two contacts. Refer to the color code instructions below. |

Step 3. When the conductors are installed, snap the lid towards the front of the jack securely in place. |
